The meter stops before you ask.
Four things go wrong in a paid call: nobody turns up, a connection dies, someone leaves early, or a card is declined. In every case the billing rule is the same — you pay for talking, and nothing else.
After five minutes the room tells you so. Rooms open late occasionally, but you should not be paying to sit there.
If they are not back within about 90 seconds, the room closes. If something went wrong, tell us — you have 48 hours and a person reads it.
The room stays open and your host stays in it while we reconnect you — usually a few seconds. If you are not back within about 90 seconds, the room closes on its own. Your host is paid for up to two minutes of that wait, by us, not you.
Nothing happens in the room. The conversation continues — you are not warned off, interrupted or cut off.
One tap gets you out.
Every room has a red End now button, set apart from the others, with no “are you sure?”. It closes the room and stops the meter at once. Then one tap on a reason is a complete report — a person reads every one — and you can also tick “Block this person”.
Reporting waives the five-minute minimum; you pay only for the exact time together. The other person is never told about the report or who made it. Blocks are immediate and silent, and you can undo one from their profile.
